Welcome!!
We are a mission of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church meeting in Rockford, IL, at 6:00 PM on Sunday evenings for worship, followed by a time of fellowship. A nursery is provided during the worship service. Presently, we meet in the Midway Village Museum Building, at 6799 Guilford Road.
The core group is composed of several families from the Rockford area who have been a part of Christ Presbyterian Church in Janesville. Desiring to establish a community closer to home, and encouraged by Christ Church to do so, we first held evening worship services in a home, with ministers whom Regional Home Missionary, Jim Bosgraf, arranged to preach for us. We began holding Rockford worship services on October 29, 2006.
Our worship services can be described as being traditional and God-centered, a word based ministry with the reading and proclamation of Scripture as the primary element of the service.
